You can breathe through your nose or your mouth and you don’t have to worry about biting down on a mouth piece as with a traditional snorkel mask. If you do get water inside your mask, you can expel the water through the valve at the bottom of the mask. The mask has adjustable straps which provides for a nice and snug fit.
